A quick reminder that it is time to get on the wellies, take out the garden tools and get set for West Horsley in Bloom 2010.
Categories are the same as last year i.e., Wildlife garden, Container Display (flower, fruit or veg!) Back Garden, Front Garden, Best Community Entry (Iliff Trophy) Vegetable plot (Mike Chapman Trophy) and of course the Roxburghe Trophy goes to the overall winner.
The Junior Section is, this year, being overseen by Bob Spackman. We are hoping all our schools will try for the School Award and that individual children in the village will be tempted to enter the Tallest Sunflower, The Largest Sunflower Head, and the Longest Runner Bean classes.
Dates for your diary are....... Judging July 9th and 12th (both mornings) and the Presentation Evening on Sept 8th at the Village Hall at 7p.m
